Terms and Conditions for Music Festival Programmer
1. Acceptance of Terms
1.1 These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of [Your App Name] ("the App") provided by Kraker B.V. ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
2. Voluntary Use and Termination
2.1 The use of the App is voluntary, and users may stop using it at any time. 2.2 Upon request, all user progress and input may be deleted.
3. Communication
3.1 We reserve the right to contact users through the App for the purpose of improving gameplay and asking questions related to the App, within reason.
4. Spotify Account Connection
4.1 Users can only play the App when a Spotify account is connected by logging in with Spotify credentials.
4.2 The terms and conditions of Spotify apply to the connection with the Spotify account.
5. Artists and Festival Names
5.1 All artists' names and festival names displayed in the App are the property of their respective owners and are shown for entertainment purposes only.
6. Data Source and Updates
6.1 The App currently utilizes a static database of artists, including their Spotify ID, country of origin, and genre, obtained from the Spotify API in the summer of 2023.
6.2 The data has not been updated since its acquisition.
7. Fictional Fees and No Monetary Value
7.1 All fees within the App are fictional, and no rights can be derived from them.
7.2 Players cannot earn any monetary value through the App, and no prizes are offered.
8. Free Use
8.1 The use of the App is currently free (excluding possible costs for the Spotify account).
8.2 Changes to this policy may occur in the future, and users will be notified. No costs will be charged without the express consent of the user.
9. Progress and Results Availability
9.1 We will make every effort to store and make available all progress and results of creating line-ups to the user.
9.2 We reserve the right to stop the App and withdraw access without notice or explanation.
10. Privacy and Data Usage
10.1 No personal user data will be shared with others.
10.2 We may use data generated from building line-ups in an anonymized way. General demographic information of users may be shared in combination with the artists they choose.
11. Intellectual Property
11.1 The App and concept are developed and designed by Reinout de Kraker. The idea and working principle are his intellectual property.
11.2 The App was created by skilled professionals on his behalf.
12. Disclaimer of Responsibility
12.1 We are not responsible for failures, mishaps, loss of time, or any other misfortune resulting from the use of the App.
13. Use of Data
13.1 We have the right to use all data derived from building line-ups in an anonymized way. 13.2 We may share general demographic information of users in combination with the artists they choose.
14. Tracking and Cookies
14.1 The App may use tracking cookies and other tracking techniques, such as Hotjar, to monitor how users are using the App to improve its performance.
